I’m running to be a Kansas City Kansas Public School (USD 500) Board Member, because I want a Board that makes decision for the interest of students and school community instead of a personal agenda built on a lack of transparency.

 

We need to get the drama out of the school board and bring back a solution based board that makes sure our schools become the best in Kansas and beyond. That’s why I’m running a clean campaign that will be issue based for the benefit of representation for the students.

 

 

As an alumnus of the KCKPS District and a member of Kansas City, Kansas, I have spent my time listening to the community, and learning from diverse experiences and perspectives. Fighting for the community as an outspoken young person in order to have representation in the world of politics has been a key part in my life. I am fighting for better policies for the students and teachers, I am fighting to be the bridge between the district and the community, I am fighting for transparency, communication, representation, collaboration through grassroot efforts, I am fighting to be a student representing students. I am fighting so that private prison no longer have the numbers they need to plan for the future of prisons.
