Gary Enrique Bradley-Lopez is running for the USD 500 School Board because he believes that the board needs to be resurrected by electing a solution-based candidate that makes decisions for the benefit of the students and not personal agendas.

Gary understands these students and knows what is best for them. Gary also understands the communities fear of what is currently going on in the School Board. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas, Wyandotte County, He lived in a small house with his family. He attended Morse Early Childhood Center, John Fiske Elementary, when his mother was deported to Mexico his fourth-grade year in elementary he then attended his fifth-grade year in Mexico. When Gary came back, he attended Central Middle School, and graduated in 2016 from Wyandotte High School, all while having an IEP Since elementary school. He continued his education by attending Kansas City Kansas Community College. While at KCKCC he became politically involved by becoming Student Senate President, resurrecting and chairing the Wyandotte County Young Dems, the KCKCC College Dems, and being elected as the 2nd Vice-President for the Kansas Young Democrats, focusing on community civic engagement and educating young people on becoming politically involved no matter what political party a person was involved in.

In 2018, he graduated from KCKCC, Cum Laude, with an Associates in Art: Theatre. Gary is currenting attending the University of Missouri- Kansas City obtaining his bachelor’s in communications with an emphasis in Journalism/Mass Communications with two minors Theatre and Political Science. He is Currently an AmeriCorps Vista Worker and a precinct Committee Person.

Gary has built relationships with multiple political leader from across the state of Kansas, and he has learned that if you really want to fix a problem, become the leader who is willing to put the hard work to be the advocate for students, and that is what Gary will do in order to be the Student Representing Students and First Elected Hispanic School Board Member.
